How to Get Involved
Purple Primaries is most essentially an information campaign that is specially designed to grow exponentially/ go viral / “tip,” to use Malcom Gladwell’s term. Given this design, a single individual has the power to contribute meaningfully to this result.
The message to be conveyed is direct and completely non-partisan: primaries are now critical to electoral outcomes; you must vote in Congressional primaries now to have a say in our federal government and to combat the consequences of extreme partisanship.
Here is how you can join the Purple Primaries movement.
Spread the Word
Our basic and most important Ask is that you reach out to at least three people to convey the above message and information. In addition, it is critical to ask every contact to then, in turn, reach out to three contacts of their own to spark the viral spread needed.
Participate in the Purple Primaries Community
Join our Email List by submitting the form in the footer below. We’ll use your email address only sparingly for important notifications, but it’s an important conduit for news, notification of upcoming events and activating local members when their primary date nears.
We will be holding Zoom meetings for updates, brainstorming and refining best practices. We encourage holding IRL house parties or coffees to convey the message efficiently, create local Purple Primaries communities and brainstorm the best ways to spread the word in your particular locale.
